Poor opacity

Cause

• Substrate not uniform (Effect finishes)

• Topcoat film build too low

• Coating overthinned

Prevention

• Spray a uniform substrate

• Spray sufficient topcoat to obtain opacity

• Avoid excessive amounts of thinner

Remedy

• Sand and repaint
