People outside of North America will no longer be able to order cyber trucks.
Ilan Musk has previously said that the demand for this pickup truck is much higher than the production capacity.
Tesla suspends cyber truck reservations outside North America
According to CNBC, Tesla will no longer accept Cyber Truck orders only in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The company has not yet responded to media requests for transparency.
Tesla CEO Ilan Musk has previously said that production of the high-end Cyber Truck
will begin next year at the Austin plant in Texas.
Demand for cyber trucks has been higher than expected, Musk says
The company will probably not be able to meet the demand level even
three years after the start of production of this pickup truck.
"During the Future of the Car 2022 conference last week, Musk said:
Tesla may stop receiving orders due to an excessive increase in demand relative to production capacity.
Tesla first unveiled the Cyber Truck in 2019.
Production was originally scheduled to begin later this year, but production has been postponed to the first season of 2023.
